Meat-Traders Online – Delivery Policy

At Meat-Traders Online, we pride ourselves on delivering fresh, quality meat — fast, cold, and safe. This Delivery Policy outlines how and when you can expect your order, and what happens if something goes wrong.

🚚 DELIVERY AREAS

We currently deliver to selected suburbs and zones within Gauteng. Availability is subject to change and may vary depending on demand or logistical factors.

To confirm delivery availability in your area, enter your address at checkout or contact our support team.

⏱ DELIVERY TIMES

  • Standard Delivery: Orders are typically delivered within 24 to 48 Hours from confirmation, depending on location and order volume. It is important to note that the reason for the delay is due to us specifically packing your order based on your actual order, as we do not prepack and pull products off the shelf for delivery.

  • Your order will be delivered between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday
    NO DELIVERIES ON SUNDAYS (All Orders placed on Saturday will be delivered on the following Monday).

    NO DELIVERIES ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (All Orders placed the day before a public holiday will receive delivery the next available delivery day )

We make every effort to deliver on time. However, delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or high order volumes. You will be notified of any significant changes.

❄️ COLD-CHAIN GUARANTEE

All meat is packed under strict cold-chain conditions from our storage facility to your doorstep. Your order will arrive in temperature-controlled packaging to ensure freshness and food safety.

📦 DELIVERY PROCESS

  1. Order Confirmation: You'll receive a confirmation email or SMS after payment.

  2. Dispatch Notification: We’ll notify you once your order is on the way.

  3. Delivery: A driver will deliver the package to your specified address. Please be available to receive it in person.

Important: If no one is available to accept the order, the driver will wait up to 10 minutes before marking the delivery as unsuccessful. A redelivery fee may apply.

🛑 UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

We reserve the right to cancel or delay delivery in the following cases:

  • Inaccessible or unsafe delivery location

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Recipient unavailable

  • Severe weather or road conditions

In such cases, we’ll contact you to reschedule or issue a refund, if applicable.

🔄 DELIVERY FEES

  • Standard Delivery Fee: R55 (subject to change based on location or order size)

  • Delivery fee is calculated and shown at checkout.
